1973: Graduated from Hue University (BA. in Physic and Chemistry); 1994: Graduated from GSLIS, Simmons College, Boston, MA., USA (MS. in Library and Information Science); 1995: Built the Graduate Library in University of HCM City as a modern library model; 1996: Graduated from Mortenson Center for International Library Programs, Illinois University at Urbana-Champaign, IL, USA.; 1998: Formed Library Club collecting 162 members, Started the In-service Training on Modern Librarianship and Published the Electronic Newsletter; 2004: Started the Project of Digital Library; 2005: Finished the feasible studies for the project of "The Electronic Library System linking Academic Libraries"; 2006: Designed an absolutely innovative Academic Library and Information Program.
